COVID-19 and dog grooming with Nubreed

I want to assure all my existing and new clients that I am putting all the best hygienic and safe practices in all my grooming procedures. I assure you that all my equipment is cleaned and sanitised at the end of every groom, and I wear goggles and a face mask for added protection. If at any point I need to go into self-isolation, I will let all clients with upcoming grooms know, and we can work out a grooming-reschedule.

PLEASE NOTE – If you do need to cancel on the day or within the 24 hour period, a cancellation fee of the full groom price will still, unfortunately, apply. As many of you are aware, this virus affects every part of our lives, but especially small businesses like myself. I generally can’t replace last-minute cancellations, which makes business very difficult. So please, if you need to cancel for whatever reason, do so at soonest notice to avoid any cancellation fees.

On a positive note, it is very unlikely that your dog will transmit or catch Covid-19, but you should still be cautious if you start to feel ill. More information can be read here https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/news/can-dogs-get-coronavirus/

If you at any point feel unwell and are unsure about going forward with the groom, please get in contact with me as soon as possible. If you are generally cautious, I can groom your dog outside and send you an invoice at the end of the day (minimising the risk of face-to-face contact).

If your household has any special COVID-19 safety procedures, please message me in advance, and I will adhere to your procedures.

Getting your dog groomed in the home is still the safest way to keep your dog clean and tidy during this time. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Wishing you and your family a safe and healthy next couple of months.
